how one Oregon district took the best elements of a multi-tiered system
of supports and combined them with a Pattern of Strengths and
Weaknesses methodology to create a truly comprehensive special
education evaluation process for suspected Specific Learning
Disabilities. Hands-on and interactive activities will help
participants learn how to conduct more accurate, detailed and
instructionally-relevant evaluations for Specific Learning Disability
eligibility.
This workshop is for anybody that works with
children. It is geared towards special education teachers, school
psychologists, related service providers, school program coordinators,
and school administrators.
Professional
Teaching Standards Board credit and graduate continuing education units
will available. Continuing Professional
Development Credits will be available to those who attend the ENTIRE
conference. WSPA is a NASP Approved Provider (#1031) for CPD credit.
